What equipment does Scott Kivowitz recommend for monitor and printer calibration?

I haven’t shared a dedicated, up-to-date calibration gear video or post in the content you’re seeing here, so I don’t want to pretend I’ve recommended a specific current model when I haven’t clearly done that in public yet.

In general, I recommend a hardware colorimeter for monitors and a spectrophotometer-based solution if you’re serious about custom printer profiles. Tools from companies like X-Rite (now Calibrite) and Datacolor are usually my go‑tos.
