I use Elgato gear mainly to make virtual teaching and demoing photography feel smoother, more engaging, and less “tech headache” for teachers and students.

• Elgato Cam Link / capture devices let me turn real cameras into high‑quality webcams, so students see sharp images and accurate color when I’m demonstrating lighting, lenses, or composition.
• Stream Deck makes it easy to switch cameras, scenes, and overlays with one button, so I can jump from my face to a document camera or Lightroom view without fumbling.
• Elgato lighting (Key Light–style setups) provides consistent, controllable light, which is crucial when I’m teaching about exposure and how light behaves. Good lighting also keeps students’ attention and shows detail clearly.

All of that together means fewer distractions, better visuals, and a more “in‑the‑room” feel when I’m teaching photography online.
