Hi there! I’m Scott Wyden Kivowitz.
The Arcanum is an online photography education platform built around an old “master and apprentice” model. Think of it as a kind of Hogwarts for photographers: you learn in small cohorts, grow through levels, get feedback, and participate in a supportive community rather than just watching random tutorials.
My involvement has been as a photographer, blogger, and educator inside that ecosystem. I’ve mentored photographers, answered questions (including things like WordPress for photographers), and focused on helping people take practical steps toward growth rather than getting stuck worrying they might fail. My role is to guide, critique, encourage, and connect photographers with the resources and mindset they need to keep improving.
