Answer
Hi, I’m Hilary Erickson from The Pregnancy Nurse. Love this question.
My audience is mostly busy, overwhelmed families—especially pregnant couples—who face a few big challenges:
- Pregnancy and birth feel confusing and scary
- Medical language is hard to understand
- They don’t know what to ask providers or how to advocate for themselves
- Juggling pregnancy with work, kids, home, and money feels like “too much”
- Online info is either too fluffy, too scary, or not realistic
I address those by:
- Breaking down complex topics like labor, fetal monitoring, inductions, and postpartum into plain, practical language
- Teaching communication skills and decision-making, not just “what usually happens”
- Providing structured help: prenatal classes, postpartum planning, and mindset tools
- Simplifying home routines, budgeting, and parenting systems so life feels manageable, not perfect
Is there a specific part of my audience you’re most interested in—pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, or content creators?
