Question
How does Hilary Erickson integrate her faith into her daily life?
Answer
I weave my faith in pretty organically, not in a “perfect, ultra‑churchy” way, but as part of normal life.
I pray a lot in the cracks of my day—before shifts, when kids are melting down, when I’m worried about someone in labor. I also try to study scripture regularly, sometimes in short snatches, and I think about how Christlike principles apply to things like parenting, marriage, and work.
You’ll also see my faith show up in service: volunteering, supporting missionaries (like in the episode you saw), and trying to be a steady, kind presence for families in stressful moments. I see faith less as a Sunday activity and more as something that shapes how I make decisions and how I treat people.
Is there a particular part of daily life you’re curious about—parenting, work, or personal spiritual habits?
