What are Natasha Nicholes's recommended tools for making kitchen tasks easier?

When I’m trying to make kitchen life easier (and prettier), I reach for a few favorites I’ve shared on my blog:

• Martha Stewart enameled cast iron (I have the 8 qt, 6 qt, and love the smaller 2 qt) for soups, stews, casseroles, and braises
• Lodge or Calphalon cast iron skillets for frying, sautéing, and everyday cooking
• Silpat baking liners for cookies and roasting, because they save money and make cleanup simple
• Fun but functional measuring cups and spoons (no unitaskers!) that look good and actually work hard
