Answer
Hi, I’m from . How can I help?
Based on what I’ve shared so far, I lean toward simple, efficient systems that cut down on daily chores:
- For chickens: I like continuous fresh-water setups, like automatic waterers that keep water coming in through the day and reduce soggy, messy areas in the coop. It’s more efficient than refilling open bowls and keeps the run drier.
- For ducks: If we add them, a kiddie pool or similar water feature is key so they can swim, plus a plan for frequent cleaning, since ducks are much messier with water than chickens.
I also pay attention to secure fencing around the garden and coop to deter theft and protect birds.
What kind of space are you working with—backyard, balcony, or community garden?
