Growing up in the heart of Chicago has greatly influenced my current endeavors. The city's vibrant culture and diverse community have shaped my perspective and approach to life. As a result, I've developed a passion for urban farming and community building, which led me to create the agricultural community @wesowwegrow. This initiative aims to grow gardeners globally while supporting our local West Pullman community.
My upbringing also inspired me to start my blog, Houseful of Nicholes, where I share our family's adventures in travel, homesteading, and homeschooling. I believe that large families can have fun without going broke or being bored, and I love sharing our experiences and tips with others.
Being a Chicagoan has also instilled in me a love for cooking and crafting, which I often share on my blog. From homemade vanilla extract to Zuppa Toscana recipes, I enjoy sharing my culinary creations and DIY projects with my readers.
