What future plans does Natasha Nicholes have for expanding her educational content and community engagement?

I’ve always seen Houseful of Nicholes as more than just a blog, so my “what’s next” lives in two big buckets: teaching and community.

On the educational side, I’m continuing to grow content around homeschooling, gardening, and practical homesteading-in-the-city—think more step‑by‑step resources, workshops, and speaking, similar to what I’ve done at conferences like BlogHer, WITS, Mom 2.0, and with organizations like the Illinois Farm Bureau.

For community engagement, I’m focused on expanding the We Sow We Grow initiative beyond my backyard plot into multiple community lots, so more neighbors can learn to grow their own food. I’m also looking at more in‑person and virtual events where families can connect around travel, gardening, and making things from scratch.
