Answer
My Route 66 family travel experience was a three-week adventure that took us from Chicago to Santa Monica. We explored every bit of road we could, making stops at various attractions and soaking in the local culture. Some of the highlights included visiting the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, enjoying frozen custard at Ted Drewes, and exploring the Route 66 State Park in Missouri. We also made a point to visit museums off the route when we had extra time. Traveling with my three youngest children, my grandmother, and my aunt added a unique dynamic to the trip, but it was an experience I wouldn't trade for anything.
