My family and I embarked on an unforgettable journey along Route 66, starting from our hometown, Chicago, and ending in Santa Monica. We spent three weeks exploring every bit of road we could, and it was an exhausting yet absolutely worthwhile experience.

We documented our journey state by state, with Missouri being one of our notable stops. We entered through St. Louis, explored the city, and visited the St. Louis Science Center. We also saw the Gateway Arch, a symbol of the city and a memorial to the Westward Expansion of the United States.

We made sure to stop at Ted Drewes for their famous frozen custard, a St. Louis staple. We also visited the Route 66 State Park and the Route 66 Museum in Lebanon, MO.

You can read more about our travels on my blog, Houseful Of Nicholes. I hope our adventures inspire you to hit the open road with your family!
