• Color and light: I look for naturally vibrant blooms—like those vivid hyacinths I shared—so I can shoot them unfiltered in good natural light, often in the morning or late afternoon.
• Simple compositions: I get close, fill the frame with flowers, and avoid distracting backgrounds so the colors and textures stand out.
• Seasonal context: I love including details that say “spring” at a glance—bulbs emerging, bright table centerpieces, or sun-filled Pasadena scenes that highlight the cheerful mood of the season.
