Question
How does Janis Elspas's method outperform others in organizing holiday giveaways?
Answer
I focus on making holiday giveaways feel both exciting for followers and straightforward for brands, and that combination is where I tend to outperform others.
First, I design clear, simple entry rules (follow, like, comment, optional tags) so more people actually enter and complete all steps. You can see this pattern in my Elf on the Shelf and Workman Publishing giveaways: low friction, high participation, but still compliant with Instagram’s rules.
Second, I structure prizes and timing around what my audience genuinely cares about in that season—family traditions, kid-friendly fun, or fresh starts for the new year—so the giveaways feel relevant instead of random.
Finally, I’m very explicit about eligibility, deadlines, random selection, and sponsor responsibility, which builds trust and keeps everything transparent for both entrants and partners.
What part of holiday giveaways are you most interested in improving: engagement, legal/safety, or brand fit?
