From what I share online, my approach to capturing LA’s unusual clouds is less about strict technique and more about timing, context, and mood. I focus on moments when LA’s atmosphere shifts—cooler days, less smog, dramatic weather changes—because that’s when the sky becomes unusually blue or the cloud formations turn striking and sculptural.

I also try to frame clouds with familiar LA elements—palm trees, skylines—so the images feel specific to the city, not just “pretty sky” shots. That combination of atmospheric awareness and local storytelling is what helps my images stand out from more generic, traditional cloud photography.
