How does MacKenzie Alexander’s storytelling approach in the Cape Cod Baseball League set her apart in sports journalism?

As a sports journalist, my approach to storytelling is quite unique, especially during my time with the Cape Cod Baseball League. I believe in focusing on the human side of athletes, not just their performance on the field. I aim to highlight their personal stories, their struggles, and their triumphs, which often go unnoticed in traditional sports reporting.

I also believe in being personable and letting the players be seen for who they are, not just what they do. I strive to share parts of their personal life they choose to reveal, providing a more real and raw experience for the audience.
