I'm MacKenzie Alexander, a 20-year-old Junior at LSU majoring in Broadcast Journalism. I was born and raised in Genesee, Michigan, and now I live full time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I've played sports my entire life, which has given me a unique perspective on the emotions and stressors that come with being a student-athlete.
I started All Bases Covered with TDT Media to focus on the real and good in athletes and coaches, allowing them to tell their stories. I believe players are people above all, and I aim to tell the human-side of athletes, and be a light in the sports world for the Glory of God.
In my reporting, I strive to be personable, letting the players be seen, sharing parts of their personal life they choose. I believe people want the real and raw experiences, not the perfect moments or the money-making questions.
