I'm MacKenzie Alexander, a 20-year-old Broadcast Journalism major at LSU. I was born and raised in Genesee, Michigan, and now live full time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I've played sports my entire life, which has given me a deep understanding of the emotions and stressors that come with being a student-athlete.
I started All Bases Covered with TDT Media to focus on the real and good in athletes and coaches, allowing them to tell their stories. I believe in being a journalist who prioritizes the human side of athletes, and I aim to be a light in the sports world for the Glory of God.
In my work, I emphasize the importance of mental health and spiritual life. I believe that your sport is what you do, not who you are. I'm grateful for all the support and look forward to growing together with the ABC community.
