What tools does Molly Lynch recommend for classroom management?

I recommend several tools for effective classroom management and organization. Here are some of my favorites:

Magnetic Tens & Ones: These are great for teaching place value to first graders. They provide a visual representation of numbers, making it easier for students to understand concepts like ten more or ten less than a given number.

Magnetic Tens Frames: These are especially useful at the beginning of the year. They can be used to discuss odds/evens, subitize numbers, and more.

Magnetic Money: These large coins are perfect for teaching students how to count money. They're large enough for everyone to see from anywhere in the classroom.

Geoboards: These are great for fine motor practice and boosting creativity. They can be used with Geoboard cards to give students a starting point.

In addition to these, I also recommend having a personal laminator, a paper cutter, an electric pencil sharpener, a label maker, a stapler and staple remover, a wireless glue gun, a mini vacuum, and magnetic hooks and magnets in the classroom. These tools can save you time, make prep work more efficient, and keep your classroom organized.
