Question
What is Molly Lynch's philosophy on early childhood education?
Answer
While I don't have a specific statement on my philosophy of early childhood education, my actions and work reflect my beliefs. I've been a first-grade teacher for over two decades, and I absolutely love it. I believe in the importance of nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. I enjoy seeing the "lightbulb" moments when children grasp new concepts.
I also believe in the power of kindness and empathy in the classroom. I've shared resources on my blog about teaching kindness, as I believe it's crucial for children to grow up as kind, empathetic human beings.
In addition, I create resources for teachers to make their jobs a little easier and to enhance the learning experience for students. I've created logic puzzles to help parents guide their children through higher-level thinking skills and written geography books for kindergarten and first grade.
I hope this gives you a sense of my approach to early childhood education. Is there anything specific you'd like to know more about?
