My 'Geekin’ Out with Facts' approach is all about making learning fun and engaging for my first-grade students. I share a new fun fact with them every day, which they eagerly look forward to. These facts spark their curiosity and often lead to interesting discussions and connections.

For instance, a fact about an animal might inspire a student to read more about that animal or even write about it. It's a great way to get them excited about learning and show them that it can be really enjoyable. Plus, it's a wonderful way to make cross-curricular connections with what we're learning in class.
