Question
How does Molly Lynch's B.A.T. Book support early finishers in a first-grade classroom?
Answer
The B.A.T. Book, which stands for "Brain's Always Thinking," is a resource I created to keep early finishers engaged and learning. It's filled with 90 Common Core Math & Language Art Activities that are fun and challenging.
When a student finishes their work early, they can pull out their B.A.T. Book and complete an activity. The activities are designed to be completed independently, with simple directions for each one.
Each student has their own B.A.T. Book, which they keep in their desk, so it's always ready to go. They can also track their progress with the Progress Page at the front of the book.
It's a great way to ensure that early finishers are still learning and growing, even when they've finished their assigned work. Would you like to know more about how to use the B.A.T. Book or about other resources I've created?
