Answer
I don’t have a single “definitive guide” written out for my photography yet, but I can walk you through the core of how I shoot, based on what you see on my page:
- Light first, pose second: I always find good natural light (windows, golden hour, or open shade), then move myself or the subject to where the light shapes the face and body best.
- Simple backgrounds so the subject pops.
- I shoot a lot, then pick the top few that really tell a story or show emotion.
- Edit lightly: keep skin tones natural, add contrast, and don’t overdo filters.
If I put together a full guide, what would you want most: camera settings, posing, or editing?
