Question
What collaborations and initiatives has Kanika Chadda Gupta undertaken in support of multicultural representation and awareness?
Answer
I've been involved in several initiatives that promote multicultural representation and awareness. One of them is my podcast, "That's Total Mom Sense," where I interview public figures from diverse backgrounds about their parenting experiences and life lessons.
In addition, I've had the privilege of interviewing iconic figures like Shabana Azmi, a renowned actor, artist, and activist, at the CRY Gala in New York City. This event was organized by CRY America, a non-profit organization that works towards ensuring underprivileged children their rights.
During my childhood, I trained in Indian classical dance and Hindustani vocal music at The India School in Bethesda, MD. This experience not only enriched my cultural understanding but also inspired me to pass on this legacy to my children.
Moreover, I've partnered with Instagram to share their new Teen Accounts update, which aims to create a safer online environment for the younger generation.
These initiatives reflect my commitment to fostering multicultural representation and promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all.
