Some things about my life and career tend to surprise people:

I was born in El Paso, Texas, but grew up in Chile, so I’m truly bilingual and bicultural and graduated at the top of my journalism class there.

I co‑founded Todobebé back in 1999, one of the first pan‑regional baby sites in Spanish and Portuguese, and started blogging about motherhood in the early 2000s, when “mom blogs” barely existed.

My work in media has taken me from red carpets and TV shows like Good Morning America, Despierta América and The Steve Harvey Show to interviewing Al Gore live for a global climate event.
