How does Hispana Global engage with the community through its social initiatives?

Hispana Global is deeply committed to using social media for social good. Over the years, I have collaborated with various non-profit organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Share Our Strength, RMHC, Common Threads, and others. My goal is to raise awareness and donations for these causes. I have also walked the red carpet for Padres Contra el Cáncer and St. Jude’s.

Most recently, I was named a Social Good Fellow by the UN Foundation and participated in its Shot@Life blog relay called Blogust to benefit 10,000 children in need. In January 2012, I traveled to Haiti with a group of prominent bloggers to visit the country and deliver donations to the women of OFEDA, a community of women that live in tent camps.

In addition to these initiatives, Hispana Global also actively supports various non-profit organizations through its platform.
