I collaborate with Fuel Up to Play 60 by sharing their mission and tools with my community of parents, especially Latino families, to help kids be more active and eat better.

I’ve covered their programs on Hispana Global, attended and promoted events like the Miami launch of Fuel Up To Play 60 en español, and highlighted how schools and families can use their free Spanish resources to encourage at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity and healthier snacks.

I also use my platform as a journalist and mom to explain why this matters for our kids’ long‑term health, mental well‑being, and even academic performance, so more families feel motivated to get involved.
