How does Hispana Global address domestic violence awareness through their campaigns?

Hispana Global addresses domestic violence awareness by using my platform and voice to break the silence, share resources, and support fundraising campaigns.

I’ve partnered multiple times with Allstate Foundation’s Purple Purse (Bolso Morado) initiative, focusing especially on:

• Highlighting that 1 in 4 women experiences domestic violence
• Educating about financial abuse and dependence as a key reason survivors stay
• Sharing hotlines like the National Domestic Violence Hotline and Casa de Esperanza
• Hosting and promoting Twitter chats with the hashtag #PurplePurse to inform, create community, and raise funds for organizations like the YWCA

Through bilingual articles and social media, I try to normalize talking about abuse, emphasize that it’s never the victim’s fault, and encourage friends and family to offer nonjudgmental support and practical help.
