My journey to Kenya back in 2008 was truly a milestone for my career. I was the only journalist and documentarian invited by Virgin Unite to cover and feature their school, dorm, and water project in the Maasai Mara. This was also a celebration of the new Virgin Atlantic routes to Nairobi.
