Which gear does Carolyn Scott suggest for pumping bike tires?

Hi, I’m Carolyn Scott-Hamilton from The Healthy Voyager.

For pumping bike tires, I suggest:

• A bike pump that matches your valve type (Schrader, Presta, or Woods). Most stand-up floor pumps work well; some “smart” pumps auto-adjust to the valve.
• If your tire has a Schrader valve, you can also safely use an air pump at a gas station, inflating slowly and checking pressure often so you do not pop the tire.
