I integrate science and spirituality by treating them as complementary lenses, not opposing teams.

On the “science” side, I lean on:

  • Evidence-based grief education (attachment theory, continuing bonds, trauma and nervous system work)
  • Mental fitness research: the “saboteurs” and how repetitive thoughts shape the brain
  • Sleep, exercise, and mindfulness as validated regulators of mood and stress

On the “spiritual” side, I bring:

  • Afterlife and NDE research, mediumship studies, pre-birth planning
  • The view that we’re consciousness first, bodies second, and relationships continue beyond death
  • Practices for noticing signs, maintaining a living relationship with the person who “died”

In sessions, I might pair cognitive tools (reframing, nervous system calming) with meaning-making questions like: “If your soul and your child’s soul planned this, what might the growth be?” I don’t ask anyone to adopt my beliefs—I offer possibilities, evidence, and tools, and let you choose what resonates.

Would you like a concrete example of how I’d walk someone through a tough grief trigger using both science and spirituality together?
