Question
What are the key components of Brian D Smith's spiritual wisdom teachings?
Answer
I’d boil my spiritual teachings down to a few core pillars:
-
We’re spiritual beings having a human experience – You existed before this life and you’ll exist after. Death is a transition, not an ending. Love never dies.
-
Pre-birth planning – Our souls participate in planning key themes, relationships, and challenges. That doesn’t mean everything is “fated,” but there’s a larger intentional arc.
-
Grief as a growth path – Grief isn’t a disease to cure, it’s a transformational process. Pain is inevitable; staying stuck is optional. We can turn pain into purpose.
-
Continuing bonds – Our loved ones are still connected to us. Signs, dreams, synchronicities, and afterlife evidence all point to an ongoing relationship.
-
Mental and spiritual fitness – Using tools like my GEMS framework (Gratitude, Exercise/Sleep, Mindfulness, Self-care) to stay grounded, resilient, and open to meaning.
Is there one of these you’d like me to go deeper into first?
