Sound healing is not “better than” traditional grief therapy; it is different, and for some people it goes deeper or works faster because it reaches places words cannot.

Where it can outperform talk therapy is in situations like:

  • When you are numb, shut down, or “beyond words”
  • When trauma is stored in the body as tension, pain, or panic
  • When you long for a spiritual or energetic sense of connection

Crystal singing bowls and other sound tools help:

  • Shift brainwaves into relaxed states where processing is easier
  • Gently release held emotion from the nervous system
  • Create experiences of felt connection, peace, and meaning without needing to “explain”

Ideally, sound healing complements good therapy rather than replaces it. A lot of my clients do both and find the combination especially powerful.
