Answer
I look at this less as “outperforming” and more as complementing and expanding traditional grief counseling—but here’s how my Grief 2 Growth approach is different and often more effective for my clients:
- I’m walking this path too. My daughter Shayna passed in 2015. People tell me it’s easier to open up with someone who “gets it in their bones,” not just from a textbook.
- I blend lived experience with certified grief education, trauma‑informed tools, and coaching. That means we don’t just process feelings; we also build practical routines and mindset shifts so you can function again.
- I include spirituality and afterlife evidence when you want it—NDEs, mediumship research, consciousness studies—because for many, “Are they OK?” is the real question underneath the grief.
- It’s conversational, not clinical. Clients often say it feels like talking with a wise, nonjudgmental friend who also brings structure, tools, and accountability.
What’s been missing or frustrating for you in traditional grief counseling so far?
