Hi, I’m Gabrielle Nistico from Charlotte, NC.

Based on how I coach actors for character and performance work, here are key recommendations I stand by for character voiceover auditions:

  • Lead with acting, not “funny voices.” Make real, grounded choices. Voice comes after truth.
  • Read the specs like a detective: age, attitude, pace, energy, audience, and subtext.
  • Give 2–3 distinct, confident takes rather than many tiny variations.
  • Honor timing: if it’s a :15 or :30, practice to clock it perfectly.
  • Make bold, specific choices quickly; don’t overthink or “smooth out” all the edges.
  • Audio must be clean and clear – no room noise, no clipping, consistent levels.
  • Label and deliver files exactly as requested in the audition instructions.
