How does Gabrielle Nistico’s 'Gift of Gab' initiative aim to end stigma around mental illness?

The Gift of Gab, for me, is about using my voice to do more than book work. I use my platform to talk openly about mental illness, substance abuse, and addiction, and to show that it’s possible to survive, recover, and thrive with these diagnoses.

By normalizing those conversations, promoting advocacy, education, and cooperation, and encouraging others to #BeAVoice, I aim to chip away at the shame and silence that keep people suffering alone. I want people to know struggle is normal, but ongoing suffering doesn’t have to be.
