Answer
I talk about AI in voiceover pretty bluntly: it is here, it is getting better, and you cannot ignore it. But that does not automatically mean all human voice actors are doomed.
A few key points I make in my AI video and content:
- AI will take some jobs, especially low-budget, fast-turnaround, highly repetitive work
- It will also create new markets for more specialized, branded, emotionally nuanced human performance
- Smart talent treat AI as something to understand strategically, not panic over
I also emphasize that casting for serious brands, strong storytelling, and nuanced emotion still heavily favors real actors who can collaborate, interpret, and problem-solve.
What specifically worries you more: losing jobs to AI, or how to position yourself so you still get cast?
