According to me, there is no single “definitive guide” as in one magic book or video that does it all. I treat it as a path made of a few core pillars:

  • Education: Learn what voiceover really is (genres, markets, how money is made)
  • Performance training: Acting, mic technique, script interpretation
  • Business: Branding, marketing, pricing, contracts, how to be a CEO of your own career
  • Assets: Professional demo(s), website, basic home recording setup
  • Ongoing coaching and practice: Classes, workouts, feedback, industry networking

On my site, I bundle this into “Getting Started” tools, beginner classes, and a free Voiceover Therapy consultation so you can map out a plan that fits you instead of following a generic checklist.

What stage are you at right now—purely curious, or already dabbling with a mic and auditions?
