Based on what I teach and model at First Harvest, I approach grief and loss by drawing people back to the love of Yahweh, the finished work of Yeshua, and the hope of the coming Kingdom of God. I emphasize that Yahweh desires a two-way relationship, especially in seasons of pain, not just in times of blessing.

I encourage:

• Honest lament and prayer, not pretending everything is fine
• Clinging to the promises of resurrection and Yeshua’s literal return
• Staying connected to a Spirit-filled, worshiping community for support and comfort
