Question
What insights does Mercedes Jackson offer about her experience in Doha, Qatar?
Answer
As a solo female traveler, I found Doha, Qatar to be a safe and welcoming city. I was able to walk the streets at night by myself, although I was always mindful of my surroundings. The local men did tend to stare, which could be intimidating at times.
Doha is a great layover spot, especially if you're traveling to places like Ghana or Asia. It's like a mini Dubai, but cheaper and with less partying. The city is clean, safe, and reasonably priced.
During my stay, I visited several tourist spots including the National Museum Of Qatar, Old Doha Port, Mina District, and The Pearl. I also recommend stopping by the Souq Waqif for shopping, food, or to smoke hookah.
Overall, I had a positive experience in Doha and can definitely see myself returning.
Is there anything else you'd like to know about my travels?
