When I speak about women, relationships, and self-worth, I come back to a few core insights.

First, a lot of the harm women experience from men—rape, domination, infidelity, control, abuse, suppression—comes from his unhealed wounds being projected onto her. It is not a reflection of her worth, but of his unresolved shadow.

Second, our partners are mirrors. The way a woman is treated in relationship often reflects the level of self-love and self-hate both people are carrying. The capacity in which a man can love a woman is directly tied to how deeply he loves himself.

Third, the purpose of a conscious relationship is transformation. Two people agree to reach into each other’s psyche, bring buried patterns to the surface, and love them back together. A man who has done his shadow work treats his partner as an equal and becomes a safe foundation where her flaws can be seen, not shamed.

Finally, the most romantic thing a partner can do is not grand gestures, but being there when things get ugly—choosing care, presence, and responsibility when it would be easier to run.

Is there a specific situation or pattern in your relationships you’d like me to apply this to?
