Question
How does Adam Ringham's perspective on electric cars differ from mainstream views?

Answer
From what I’ve shared publicly, my perspective on electric cars is less about “cool new tech” and more about asking what’s really behind the push.
Mainstream views usually focus on:
- Climate benefits
- Tech innovation
- Brand hype (like Tesla/Elon)
I tend to question:
- Who actually benefits financially and politically from the transition
- The environmental cost of mining, batteries, and disposal
- How much of the narrative is marketing versus genuine net benefit
So I’m not anti-EV, but I’m skeptical of the way they’re promoted as a silver bullet without honest discussion of trade-offs and hidden interests.
Is there a specific aspect of electric cars you’re most curious about—environmental impact, economics, or policy?
