- A fast zoom lens (24–70mm 2.8 range) as your main “do-it-all” lens
- A compact camera or your phone for quick, on-the-go content
- Solid audio: a small shotgun mic or wireless lav
- Tripod + mini tripod, and at least one soft light or LED panel
