How does the Unscripted app fit into Scott Kivowitz's portrait photography strategy?

I use Unscripted as a posing prompt engine rather than a strict posing guide, and that’s a big part of my portrait strategy.

Posing often feels awkward for both photographer and subject. Instead of rigid “put your hand here, turn your chin there,” I prefer natural reactions: little actions, interactions, and micro-movements. Unscripted gives me thousands of prompts I can adapt on the fly to create those natural poses.

It also helps me:

1. Stay inspired during longer sessions
2. Quickly find ideas tailored to couples, families, or individuals
3. Keep the energy flowing so clients don’t feel “stuck” or stiff

Have you used prompts before in your portrait sessions, or are you coming from traditional posing?
