I focus on one core idea: most photographers don’t need multiple websites, and splitting your brand usually hurts more than it helps.

When someone asks about separate sites (weddings, portraits, commercial, education, etc.), I talk about:

  1. How multiple sites multiply your workload: SEO, blogging, updates, pricing, design, and tech issues
  2. How it can confuse clients who just want to understand who you are and what you do
  3. Why a well-structured single site with clear service pages often converts better

If you already have multiple sites, I suggest:

  1. Picking one “home base” brand
  2. Gradually folding secondary sites into it with redirects and clear navigation

What kinds of photography are you trying to separate into different websites?
