Hi there!

Based on what I have out publicly, my main take on wedding photography etiquette for guests is this:

  1. Remember it is the couple’s day, not a content‑creation day for guests
  2. Respect the hired photographer’s space and line of sight, especially during key moments like the processional, first kiss, and family formals
  3. If the couple has an unplugged ceremony, honor it fully—no phones, no iPads in the aisle
  4. When in doubt, ask the couple or planner what they prefer rather than assuming

If you are a guest, are you more worried about doing the wrong thing, or are you a photographer trying to set expectations with guests?
