In my “Come on Nikon!” and “Nikon Failed” era, my ideal Nikon full‑frame mirrorless looked roughly like this:
- Body based on the Nikon Df: same classic styling and size, just without the mirror and prism, making it lighter and more compact.
- Native F‑mount: no adapter needed so all existing Nikon F lenses work directly.
- Truly pro‑focused: robust build, great ergonomics, and performance aimed at working photographers, not just consumers.
