What unique insights does Scott Kivowitz offer at the Canada Photo Convention?

At the Canada Photo Convention, I focus less on “gear talk” and more on the human and business side of photography. I share how in-person events can transform your career through real relationships, not just quick contacts you meet once and forget.

I talk about practical ways to:

1. Start meaningful conversations (even if you’re introverted)
2. Turn hallway chats and meal-line talks into collaborations
3. Learn things you’ll never get in a classroom or YouTube video

I also tie this into building a sustainable business: using events to find mentors, referral partners, and fresh creative inspiration so you do not feel isolated behind the camera or the computer.

Is there a specific angle you are most interested in—networking, business growth, or creative inspiration?
