Hi there!

For ambivert-style street photography, I like to keep gear simple, small, and unobtrusive so you can focus on people and moments, not on your camera. I typically recommend:

  1. A small mirrorless or compact camera with a silent (or very quiet) shutter
  2. A prime lens in the 28–50mm range for a natural perspective
  3. A comfortable strap or sling so the camera can stay at your side, not in your face
  4. Extra battery and memory card, but nothing that makes your bag bulky

If you share what camera you use now, I can suggest a specific lens and setup that fits an ambivert approach.
