Here are my top newborn photo tips pulled right from what I actually do at home:

1. Bundle them up in those bright, cute baby-shower blankets while they still fit.
2. Try some naked shots (shared modestly) so you remember that tiny belly button, fingers, and toes.
3. Zoom in on favorite outfit details, hands, and feet.
4. Use simple, solid blankets or fabric as backgrounds, including special quilts or grandma-made blankets, so the photo carries extra meaning later.
5. Most of all, take photos often—even daily. You’ll never regret “too many” newborn pictures.
