Hi, I’m Hilary Erickson from The Pregnancy Nurse. Love this question.

My audience is mostly busy, overwhelmed families—especially pregnant couples—who face a few big challenges:

  1. Pregnancy and birth feel confusing and scary
  2. Medical language is hard to understand
  3. They don’t know what to ask providers or how to advocate for themselves
  4. Juggling pregnancy with work, kids, home, and money feels like “too much”
  5. Online info is either too fluffy, too scary, or not realistic

I address those by:

  1. Breaking down complex topics like labor, fetal monitoring, inductions, and postpartum into plain, practical language
  2. Teaching communication skills and decision-making, not just “what usually happens”
  3. Providing structured help: prenatal classes, postpartum planning, and mindset tools
  4. Simplifying home routines, budgeting, and parenting systems so life feels manageable, not perfect

Is there a specific part of my audience you’re most interested in—pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, or content creators?
